Image Measurement System

We utilize a Keyence IM-7030 Image Dimension Measurement System for parts that are too small or intricate to be laser scanned or inspected using a CMM. Our vision measurement system can be used for single part inspection, or multiple part inspection for statistical process analysis. Our equipment is some of the most advanced in the industry, allowing us to have repeatability accuracies of up to half a micron. The software we use to operate the measurement system enables us to program and run a fully automated inspection process in order to eliminate human error.

Dimensional Engineering’s Image Measurement services can be used to write programs for your own Keyence IM series unit. All that we need is the part or a registered Keyence image of the part, and a drawing of the features you wish to check. We also offer recertification services for your Keyence IM Systems to keep them up to national standards.
